Please enjoy a free trial of Pocket PC Creations. Providing the opportunity to design projects/applications on a desktop PC and run on a Pocket PC.

The trial version of Pocket PC Creations has all functions, but is time-limited (15 days). Pocket PC Creations runs in Pocket PC operating systems (current are Windows Mobile 6 (Professional and Classic) and 5, 2003. including second edition) on 'touch screen' devices.

Projects/applications developed with the trial Pocket PC Creations will run in the licensed software when purchased. Please note our Privacy Policy and respect the following trial conditions:

	provision of user information, see below; and
	time limit of 15 days.

- Download
Please complete the form below to assist us to support you. Click the 'Download Trial' button to begin the download process. The trial software file is 1.5 Mb. Pocket PC Creations version 5 (June 2008).

- Install
The PocketPCCreationsTrial.exe file will be located in the 'Downloads' folder on your computer if you chose the save location suggested before download. Close other programs which may be open before installing. Double click the file and it will 'unpack' to install on your desktop or laptop computer.

Desktop PC: Go to Start and 'Programs' on your desktop and find the 'Pocket PC Creations' program in your PC's Programs listings. The Pocket PC Creations link will take you to the desktop/laptop version of the trial, from there open and design projects to install on a Pocket PC. Open the Sales Force and other example projects to explore designs and functions, at C:\Program Files\Pocket PC Creations\Examples

Pocket PC: Click the 'Install' icon to install Pocket PC Creations software and project to Pocket PC; install to Default location main RAM, or SD/CF card if other than default is selected.

The 'Start' menu on the Pocket PC will provide a link to Pocket PC Creations. Install other example projects to test them out, they can be deleted later when you have designed your own projects. Pocket PC Creations can run multiple projects on a Pocket PC.

Windows XP and Vista Installation on a network may require administrative privileges, software cannot be installed from a 'user' account. Log on as an 'administrator' before installing Pocket PC Creations.

Before developing and running Pocket PC Creations projects we highly recommend reading the online Skills tutorial with optional assessment and certification. Open the Breathalyser and other example projects to run alongside the Skills tutorial, it can be found at C:\Program Files\Pocket PC Creations\Examples\Breathalyser.ppc .

Windows Mobile 6 and 5

The current Pocket PC Creations version 5 (released June 2008) has been tested in Windows Mobile 6 and 5 which are now the operating systems for most new Pocket PCs and Pocket PC Phones. It should be noted that CreativityCorp attempts to ensure Pocket PC Creations is compatible with both current and past versions of the Windows Mobile operating systems. Thus on installation of Pocket PC Creations 4 a message may appear on the the Pocket PC "The program you have installed may not display properly because it was designed for a previous version of Windows Mobile software." This has no significance for Pocket PC Creations, which displays in both Portrait and in Landscape, and in the 'square' mode for devices.
